last weekend i went to Pattaya
im sure u might have heard its notorious shine.
and it was beautiful.

i went to the wedding party
and i was attracted by one lady

...

haha

she was in her thirty. i guess
dressed up gracefully in a pale-green chiffon dress.
she is so pale that small patches of eye shadow
make a very strong statement on her ovel face
high cheek-bones. super skinny legs. she looks like
a chinese model who just happened to fly from Shanghai.

i didnt know why, but my eyes were following her every gesture.
she was sipping her champaign. and the colour of it darkend
her nude-colour lipstick. and well, what amazed me more is that
there were two children running around her. and she called them 'kids'

she ignored their existence. and looked aimlessly elsewhere.
like she was finding something but she was not. And there, the guy came
i guessed he was her husband. they whispered something. and he went away

suddenly she took her maroon leather Prada. and i was surprised.
i never imagined seeing people using Prada in Pattaya, and hardly in Bangkok
she stood up, shouting for her kids. took them by both hands, walked to her husband
kissed him on cheek and walked away.

and i found out later that she was married to some rich man in Canada.
she was the oldest sister of some chinese middel class family in Pattaya
she studied medicine in Bangkok, and later made her way to Canada
and now she was back to her home.
and the guy was her ex. back then in those old times.
and it was his wedding.

last week, Thai students just finished their
final university entrance examinations

the mood was not good. i could sense the stress
and i was. erm. like

haha. i felt guilty LAAAAHHHHH :D

now holiday is comin again.
my senior from London is flying back!
and my friends here will have time for me (like finally)
time to save up again Kao! so i can splurged it on
movie, food. and clothes:D

and i felt like i spent too much on clothes ardy):
last week i was running around Siam Sqaure and Jatujuk market
spending over 200 bucks (converted to singdol) TOT
and i really miss Singapore' Topman and Revoltage
buy me one kae! singaporean!

and it comes to this
i saw lots of shop in singapore sellin Thai clothes
so expensively); i do understand their expense on shipping
but i think its too much
*cool-design Tee in Thai market= 4 bucks
*same-design Tee from thailand in sg shop= 15 bucks

so im considering some business on this where i can
push the price lower so singaporean will be happier(:

i feel quite a relief now cuz from now on i'll be free from all
the universities admission thingings.
went for Chulalongkorn communication design interview today
and it was quite a day

my first impression was like, why there were so many
international-school students here.
and they speak with accent.
and i quite liked it haha
sometimes it is nice to hear from those who say it without a pretense:)

there is one girl from Regent's international
and she speaks like Blaire in gossip girl.
and she took my BLOODY watch TOT
and she said, she liked it
wth. im gonna get it soon. i promise):

ok guys. i realised that my mood has been
so shitty for the past few days

valentine day is coming and i'm
an absolute single...

i went to help my cousin for her film production
and manged to get some shots
here we go:

it's an indy film so i guess i saw lots of indy people there
and i learn that, making movie is not an easy job at all:

make-up artists
costume people
producers
co-producers
they were all running around endlessly
it was tiring but absolutely a moment to remember(:

it's a prime of your life. or the worst moment?
being 18.
all the hormones. all the needs. all the desire to be wanted.
to be fulfilled. to be loved

my life was getting itslef settled last year in singapore.
its was year that i feel like i could stop searching for
something that was missing. i have good friends
good life. and things went well. though it was an ordinary one
it was alrite. i was happy.

then. everything falls apart. i have to start from zero here in Bangkok
it isnt that bad. but it takes time. it takes time to build up yr contact lists
in yr mobile. it takes time to build a relationship

i feel like i was living in a dream when i was in singapore. u can imagine life
without parents nagging. ultimate freedom. circles of friends. superb education.
but now i woke up from that dream, and i am facing the truth of life

bangkok is different. financial factor becomes important.
looks and appearance count. parents come in. all the family problems
and relationship...

i dun know which position i am in. i dun know wud role to play here. i have thought that
sex and all the human contacts can make you fulfilled, can give you a sense of belonging
maybe im just, wrong. in any sense. maybe i'm too young for this

love comes back. i used to control it last time. but now i just cant.
i dun know where it will lead me too. but i only hope love happens
though it will hurt for sure.i will risk. for once more

it happened to me last time that my whole world stopped
when i'm in bangkok for holidays
but it is different this time

i've been working with my cousin in film production
she brought me to see lives, and people
it was fun and hard, like a l real life

i'v been in a new circle of people, where money& stablility matter
,even than love or friendship.
i withnessed violence and struggles, to make a life
bangkok and singapore, are just different i guess

...
i thought sex and abortion only exist in GP topics
which i didt really give a damn much
but, i have faced them rather dramatically,
and they are closer than i thought
it was a hard fact, reality and the truth

maybe this little Kao has to grow

there are people looking for sex
and there are people looking for love

and i believe
there is more to life, than just to live

seems like i start losing interest in blogging

iv been quite busy for these few days
hmmm. let me recall

wed: longday. i went to bring my friend for audition with my senior in university
the audition was fun but tiring. and i managed to borrow lots of movies and games from my senior room. woohoo:x

thurs: went to Chula (the university i'm applying). walking too much till my toe swollen.sorry Ning haha:x the people there look gorgeous, and classy. woohoo:X

fri: went to hospital for appointment. been waiting 3 hours for 1 minute appointment.fuk.seriously.woohoohaha:x

i read newspaper this morning
and there is a review of this movie
'snakes and earrings'

iv wanted to watch this movie for a very long time
but now i'm not sure quite what to do
because i'm afraid of what gonna happen after i watch

it's about alternative lifestyle
a girl and a punk
its about tattoo, violence and sex
but why am i afraid?

its because i'm 18
hormones rushing through very single part of my body
i lost my own self and i don't know what kind of a person i will become
uncertainty hurts like hell

i'm going for surgery tomorrow

ok guys. this post is a lil bit serious and quite mature
if you don't agree or anything. i'm ok with it(:

i am those who always look for the future
and this time it's valentine.

my last year valentine was ordinary, nothing special
unlike the previous one

lots of people asked me about my 'relationship'
98% of the answers are lies
why? cause i think the truth is useless sometimes

now, my 'relationship' part of my heart stop functioning, but expect to work again soon
i used to believe that 'having relationship with someone' is like
precious oxygen that makes me alive
but i was wrong, it is just a drama. you will survive without it

Oh yeah, actually i had been through several 'realationships'. seriously
but the almost-proper ones are only two. the rest are quite hallucinative
but now i'm absolute single(:

i have stopped listened to those 'omg its so painful you break my heart' teens' songs
and getting very annoyed when people 'break up'
i feel like go and shout at their faces, how precious they are to have 'at least someone'
for each other.

but i'm not searching for relationship either
if it comes, it comes
but the feeling of this haunts sometimes
and that's why i stops taking a walk alone, and also tends to watch romance less

lets talk about sex. all the adults always view teens' sex as 'juvenile'
or even some teens tag it wiht those attitudes 'bitc h , pimp , slut, sick , horny freak' or whatever

but i view sex as the ultimate way to express your affection, and not lust

Election people!
Today is the first time in my life that i have chance to vote for the Mayor of Bangkok
was excited about it, but the process only took less than 3 mins
so i find it ok-ok afterall
and i chose this guy

Then i went for shopping,
really bought good stuffs eventually, in a good price too(:
Bangkok this time is the nicest
you can put on a nice jacket ( u'd thrown it away since last oversea holiday)
and have a nice warmy walk under sunshine without getting burnt

Spectacular Day

Today was a long day. Here we go

11 am: i left my house, went directly to the old down town called The Old Siam plaza
and obviously it was really old. i was searching for my art stuff for printmaking (i will post it later on) and finally spent for like 40 bucks plus. i felt a sudden wind blowing

12 am: my senior, who look like those you can see in New Urban Male shop, called and told me like, come out and see me le, translated to singlish. btw he is an ex-temasekian and Tjcian. so i rushed back home by taxi and get dressed up cuz i was in something like (almost)boxer short and flip-flop.

1 pm: i reached the mall. waxed my hair (haha) and i was super hungry. i called him and he answered> so fast ah. wait i'm in gym. let me take shower. Kao almost fainted. GOSH. but nvm. i'm a nice guy(:

2 pm: we went straight for lunch. a very nice japanese cuisine. with four little Moji-ice cream balls at some nice coffee shop. i felt good and erm..filled.

3 pm: we appeared in another artshop. not exactly art but more on educational stuffs to buy his architect stuffs. and i was enjoying it. Lately he has been talking more mature-stuff like what is good design> which totally surprised me cuz i dont really expect much from this kool-lookin so ah beng NUM boy (sorry ah. haha)

4 pm: and we moved into a new mall called Esplanade (like in marina bay haha). and my gosh he changed his car. his new BMW looks abit classic i thought. but it turned out to be his mom. Shey ):
the sound system inside was amazing. we listened to some Rock and the seat was shaking (as i felt) haha. we went to Ripcurl shop and were trying really LOTS of clothes that the staff there almost pissed. haha. too bad for them lol. and then we went for book shop, spent the rest of the time in architect section. though im not a big of that, but it was enjoyable

5 pm: he dropped me off at some street and i took taxi back home. traffic jam.again.shit laaaaa

7 pm: Gosh. damn tired. but still, my parent went for party so i had to get food to eat by myself, which took me like one more hour.

8 pm: eat and blog :)

Yeah!
I think i'm back to normal again
no more morning depression and life seems to move on
i'm feeling better. and my body responds well too
now no more fever and i can sleep late. fianally

Heard lots stuff saying that my friends in singapore are suffering
new hostel. holiday homework and all the shit things that a level is bringing
im kinda miss those feeelings. haha. serious
but now i think i have to keep going
my life is here, and not there anymore

i'm looking forward for the last university application and interview
and after that i think i really have to focus on my art
next project i'm working soon is the screen-printing
i'm goin downtown to get the equipment soon
and another one is Flash
i'm signing up for the course and i promise i have to master it before Feb

the last project i have to complete before uni starts is my club-ted shop
yay! correct club-ted shop!
now i'm making quite lots of cards and i'm finding the way to sell them soon
Ling's sister had made the comment that my card CAN sell

after cards, i think i'm gonna expand it to something like: scrapbook, notebook and t-shirt

2009 is here, finally and i feel i'm getting very old
this coming august i will be 19. OMG!!!
they say 18 is the best year of your life, but i don't see anything happen to me yet

Yesterday i was sick.
Physically and emotionally
after 5 hours of roaming around the shopping centre
i got fever! and i realized that i'm sick of teenagers. Gosh!
they all look the same. wearing the same thing. doing the same stuffs
:( thats bad. man! cuz it means i'm no longer one of them
i start getting sick of shopping mall. sick of ' oh man, she dumped me' songs
sick of doing nothing but, watching movie and going for karaoke
and spent my whole day, just for that

i just took time off and spent it with my family
on some awesome islands
and i did learn quite lots of things

Yesterday I went out to meet up with Andrew and Ling
we were supposed to go only downtown
like Siam Square and MBK
but we ended up touring around the old blocks,
through cab, ferry, boats and cab again.
it was fun(:
and i reached home at 10pm
the lastest for the first time yeah
and Thank you Ling's sister who rode me home with the speed of
120 km/hr on the express way
it was nice(:

It is the first time i'm saying this
I miss Singapore

This time of the year. i would be busy trying to finish
my homework and starting packing up for my trip back to Singapore

but not this year
i'm not going back

i was always complaining how small the city is
and how boring the education system appears to me

but i have to admit
i miss that kind of feeling

no more NYJC
no more long 105 bus drive from my school with my friends discussing
how fun and stressful the school is
no more orchard at night
no more singlish i feel comfortable with
no more hostel's life
no more class outing
no more AEP room where i always took a nap and slacked
no more late night outing on Friday night
no more
...

everything is different
it is hard to accept
but i just need to get going
and move on
...

This morning was really fucked up
i woke up like 6am to go for the test for design and architecture

i was depressed
felt like shit
annoyed
troubled and disturbed
shit seriously

while i was doing the test
i wished it end like in 3 mins time
not 3 hours

...

it finally ended
but
the pain still there
...

after that i went to see my friends
she is my angel i think
talking to her was like a revival

feel like being with my mom when i was with her

made me feel so warm(:

This morning i woke with sorrow
It has been like this for quite a while
morning really sucks
everyone is out
and i was left in the house for the whole day

i woke up
i had breakfast, while i was watching some Youtube videos
lately i cant have my breakfast or lunch, without turning on my computer
it is too lonely to eat alone

i did some house chore
walked in the garden for a while
showered then did some art work

lunch time

again

i read books
went online
and my thoughts were wandering

time does not fly here

i am trying to get myself occupied
